(Stillwater, Okla.) — An ex-convict and his girlfriend, who had been allegedly marketing medicine from an condominium near a Stillwater grade school, have been jailed, alongside with a woman accused of working with her residence as a position where by medication have been retained and offered.
Damon Eugene Thomas Sr., 43, of Stillwater, who got out of jail 8 months in the past, and his girlfriend, Ashley Anne Griffith, 29, of Perkins, have been ordered to appear in courtroom now on costs of possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Thomas has also been accused of possessing two pistols that experienced been described as stolen.
Sherri Louise Stokes, 38, who allegedly “admitted to Damon and Ashley offering narcotics,” from her Stillwater apartment, has been purchased to show up in courtroom on Sept. 13.
The trio had been arrested on Aug. 10 soon after a research warrant was served at Stokes’ condominium on E. 6th Avenue, Stillwater Police Detective Brett Moore wrote in an affidavit.
“In Sherri’s bedroom, I found a modest amount of a black tar-like substance considered to be heroin and syringes adjacent to her bed on the nightstand. Sherri is a regarded heroin consumer. I have arrested quite a few people leaving Sherri’s home, most of which experienced narcotics on their human being,” the detective alleged in his affidavit.
“It was decided Ashley was residing in the (middle) bed room with her boyfriend Damon Thomas Sr. Less than the pillow exactly where Ashley and Damon had been laying, a stolen Ruger LC 9 pistol was found chamber and magazine loaded. A Sig 365 was also observed chamber and magazine loaded on the south wall on top rated of a plastic dresser,” an additional affidavit alleged.
A secure below the mattress experienced “copious amounts of drug paraphernalia to include pipes and hundreds of unused zip prime baggies,” digital scales with methamphetamine residue and a zip major plastic bag that contains methamphetamine, the affidavit alleged. The condominium was found about 180 toes from Highland Park Elementary College assets, the affidavit mentioned.
Thomas has also been billed with violating a protecting get as a second offense by moving into a Perkins ease shop on Jan. 27 although his ex-wife was functioning, an affidavit alleged. She stated “she appeared up and seemed straight into the eyes of the satan. (She mentioned) as soon as she noticed it was Damon ‘her heart went straight into her throat,” an affidavit alleged.
Thomas has a legal file from Payne, Kay and Custer counties, which include convictions for medicines, guns, domestic violence, and theft, according to the Office of Corrections.
